The protection of your personal data is a particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003). In this privacy information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

If you contact us via the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

For the transmission of form data (order and contact form) we use the service Web3Forms (STARBASE Ventures FZC). The data you enter is transmitted to Web3Forms over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and forwarded to our e-mail inbox. Web3Forms does not itself store the form submissions but processes them only for forwarding; server logs that may contain personal data are deleted periodically by the provider. Web3Forms' servers are located in the USA, which means a transfer of data to a third country within the meaning of the GDPR takes place. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract initiation) and (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable transmission).

In addition, the following data is stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: first name, surname, e-mail address. The data you provide is required for the performance of the contract or for carrying out pre-contractual measures. No data is transferred to third parties, except for the transfer to payment service providers, transport companies and our tax advisor.

In the event of a contract being concluded, all data is stored until the expiry of the statutory retention period under tax law (7 years). The data name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase is stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years).

Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for the performance of the contract) GDPR.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do no harm.

We use cookies to make our offering user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
